Glenmary Home Missioners are sharing two unique travel opportunities with mission supporters.
Glenmary Father Steve Pawelk heads a Pilgrimage to Our Lady of Guadalupe and the Shrines of Mexico from Oct. 18-27, 2021. Glenmary First-Vice-President Father Aaron Wessman will be leading a Pilgrimage to the Shrines of Italy from Oct. 4-14, 2022.
The Mexican pilgrimage begins with Mass in Guadalajara on day one, and builds up to a visit to Mexico City and the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Other highlights include seeing the church where St. Juan Diego was baptized, the Santuario de Santo Torribo Romo, a Mexican martyr, and the Basilica of the Virgin of San Juan de Los Lagos.

The Italian pilgrimage begins in Rome, heads north to the hometown of St. Francis of Assisi, southeast to Loretto and San Giovanni Rotondo, across the peninsula to Salerno and back to Rome via Campania and Montecassino. The trip will visit many churches and shrines, culminating with attendance at the weekly papal audience at Vatican City.
