Vacation Bible School: 'Missionaries in Our Own Land'

This is the second of two Vacation Bible School programs (ages 4-12) that Glenmary hopes will provide affordable options for parishes willing to take some basic building blocks and run with them! This five-day program, developed by DRE Theresa Valerius for use in her own Southwest Ohio parish, introduces young people to men and women in our own land who have responded in a special way to the missionary call we each receive in baptism. Some lived long ago—such as Junipero Serra and Kateri Tekawitha. Others are still living and working as missionaries today. For a theme outline of the five days.

• 8 black masters for reproducible activity sheets (available for free download)
