Confirmation Supplement: 'Sacrament of Mission'      

This packet of four lesson plans and a concluding prayer service can be used to supplement any Confirmation program. But its ideal use may be as a follow-up to Confirmation to help recipients reflect on what this “sacrament of mission” really means to them—and to reflect on how they are now being sent to serve in Jesus’ name. Developed by Sister Delouise Menges, OSF, a longtime sixth-and-seventh-grade teacher, these materials are intended to inspire youth to consider a radical call to gospel service in their own communities and, particularly, in the often overlooked mission areas of our own land.
