The Catholic Community of Monroe County led by Paul and Ginny,
Glenmary lay pastoral coordinators, celebrated the worldwide
Catholic-Lutheran Accord in a joint service with the local
Lutheran Church. It was an ecumenical event many could never
have imagined, but the Wittes made it happen! |

in Father Bobs early years as a Glenmary priest did
he think hed find himself learning Spanish moreover
celebrating Spanish Masses. But that is what he did in Russellvilleleading
one of the most diverse missions ever staffed by Glenmary.

residents had negative attitudes about Catholics. But Father
Dan left a legacy of changed attitudesand hearts!

He's the one teaching the childrenas well as their

Tom KellyVanceburg, Kentucky
One of the first four brothers to take the Glenmary Oath,
Brother Tom is now enjoying the busyness of retirement. But
he has never forgotten the lesson he learned over the years
as a Glenmary brother: to sit a spell, take the time to talk
and listen to people. For him, that's what Glenmary is all
about.
