Glenmary At A Glance









Mapping Mission. In Rome in 1986 to present Glenmary's revised Constitution, Father Frank Ruff catches the attention of Pope John Paul II with several maps of Mission Land, USA, from the Glenmary Research Center. 

The GRC offers a collection of individualized services to members of its target constituencies.

GRC Services:

  • Pastoral planning assistance
  • Program design, evaluation and impact
  • Program monitoring
  • Projections and trend analyses
  • Theological reflection upon the social context, religious heritage and missionary activities of Glenmary
  • Heritage and missionary activities of Glenmary
  • Participation in, or assistance to, other Glenmary efforts through membership on or staff support of Glenmary Commissions, committees, special assignments, formation programs, etc.

GRC Constituencies:

  • Glenmary Administration, Departments, Field Workers (e.g., Pastors, Specialized Ministries, Pastoral Coordinators) and cooperating groups (e.g., Glenmary Sisters and Co-Missioners).
  • Bishops/Dioceses (especially in mission areas), judicatory leaders of other religious communities and others in leadership positions.
  • Communities and community members in mission areas.
  • Academic and other professional communities and the general public.
