Home Mission E-News    Spring 2008
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Chris Fadden It's spring. The days are getting warmer and brighter and the songs of birds fill the air. This spring issue of our Home Mission features a story about a class of kindergarten children who raised money for one of our Kentucky missions and Glenmary's major gifts officer Father Francois Pellissier's visit with them. In the nice weather of springtime, often grade school classes visit Father Francois here at Glenmary Headquarters to learn about our home mission work and to see what it takes to keep the missions going. And there are other young people who visit our missions as volunteers, donating their time and talent to a wide variety of projects. Ultimately, what keeps the missions going is the dedication of our partners in missions-the people who donate their time and treasure to help keep our missions staffed, financially supported and able to do the work we do. Thank you for your continued support. Have a wonderful summer!
