Making Evangelization the Filter for All Parish Activities

The first part of every Parish Council meeting recently has been devoted to reading and discussing a section from the book The Evangelizing Catholic by Frank DeSiano. This has helped make evangelization the "filter" through which all the other agenda items are viewed. This simple strategy not only educates lay leaders without adding additional meetings, but has had a significant impact on their decision-making.
